Katherine Lorey

Katherine Lorey, Katie for short, is a high school English and journalism teacher.  She graduated from MSU with her bachelor's degree in 2005 and has worked at Lakeshore High School in Stevensville, MI since.  She has taught Freshman English, World Literature, Composition, British Literature, Journalism 1 & 2, and Contemporary Literature since she began teaching.  The part she loves most about her job is acting as a mentor to her students.  She also enjoys finding engaging and beneficial ways to incorporate technology into every class she teaches.  In her free time, Katie enjoys traveling, hiking, singing, and reading, and has recently taken up sewing.  To learn more about Katie and her classroom, please visit the following sites:
